Jansen Color Blind??

I hope everyone had a great Easter. The boys enjoyed all their gifts from PatPat, PawPaw, Hema, and Hapa. Thank You!
Jansen had a visit yesterday with his speech therapist and he continues to do well. He is having a little trouble with ending sounds and pronouns in sentences(he is only 2). We will continue to work on this at home. The speech therapist has some concerns with Jansen and his colors. We have worked really hard with Jansen on his colors, but he is having a hard time with them. He knows all the colors except for green and blue. He says they are black or white. The speech therapist thinks he MIGHT be color blind. Yesterday he got very frustrated working on blue and green with her. So we now have an appointment with Dr. Mark Greenberg -Pediatric Ophthalmologist on April 22 to have Jansen's eyes check. Chris and I have no idea if he is color blind or if he just doesn't care about learning his colors. I tried to work with him last night and he got frustrated with me. We will see what the doctor says next month.
Jordan is loving baseball lesson from a pro. They are working with him on hitting and throwing the ball. I can't wait to watch his game tonight to see him in action.
Have a great Tuesday!

HAPPY EASTER

HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE
The Kentys have had a quiet week. Nothing exciting going on.
Jordan started baseball lessons from a pro at The Strike Zone in Newnan and is enjoying it. He listened to the coach a little better than he listens to his dad. We are thinking about having him take lessons at least once a week for the next month.
Jordan and Jansen both had Easter Egg Hunts at school today. I watched Jordan's class, because my class was at PE. They had fun looking for eggs and running around outside. I hate that I missed Jansen's party, but he said he liked looking for eggs. We hope everyone has a great Easter.

Great Game Cardinals!

The Cardinals played a GREAT game yesterday, but lost in the last inning by three runs. We played a traveling team called the Welcome All Reds from Fairburn. Chris told their coach to watch out, that the Cardinals would see them again soon in another Tournament. We are so proud of the boys. They are a great team! Coach Chris, Ricky, Wes, Dan and Mitch worked their tails off all weekend hosting the tournament. It was a great tournament and all 7 teams had fun.(we think)
Have a great week and enjoy the warmer weather.
HAPPY SPRING!!

Happy Birthday Jordan!

It's hard to believe that today Jordan is 6 years old. He is so excited about being 6.
Last night the Cardinals played a GREAT game. It was a very stressful game for all the parents. We won the game by 2 points. We are now 2-0 for the tournament going into eliminations tomorrow. The rain last night has really messed up the games today so we will play tomorrow. Have a great Saturday!

GOOD GAME CARDINALS!!

The Cardinals won their first game last night. The score was 29 to 12!! They looked really good on the field and Jordan hit a home run off the tee. We play again Friday night at 5:30, if it doesn't rain. Good Luck Cardinals!

Are you ready for some baseball?

Well it's officially baseball season for the Cardinals. Jordan played in a tournament this pass weekend and the team came in 2ND place! Way to go Cardinals. This weekend is the Sharpsburg Shootout and we are hosting the tournament. Chris has been working so hard getting everything ready for this big weekend. We now have 7 teams playing and we are so excited. Jordan and Chris will start Thursday night at 7:00 and play all weekend. They are hoping to play in the championship game Sunday at 2:00. During the games Jansen and I cheer them on as well as play a little ball our self. Jansen is wanting to play ball so bad, that yesterday he told his daddy to put him in the line up. Chris has told him he can play next year in Pre-T. Watch out Pre-T, we have a pro on our hands. Hope you have a great week and enjoy this great Atlanta weather!
