Fireproof

Their is a movie coming out in September called Fireproof.
I have read an article about it in the magazine Homelife. This is going to be a must see movie.

Fireproof is an action drama about Caleb Holt, a firefighter whose marriage is burning to the ground. After he and his wife, Catherine , agree to divorce, Caleb is challenged by his father to read a book called The Love Dare, which takes him on a 40 day journey of studying the meaning and application of love. After Caleb discovers GOD as the source of love, he tried to save his dying marriage and rescue the heart of his wife.

Chick-fil-a is doing an early release of the movie this Friday night at the Fox Theatre and Chris and I can't wait to go and see it! I'll share more details about it when we see it!

Great Doctors Visit

Today Jansen had a doctors appointment with his ENT doctor and the audiologist.

Dr. N was so amazed at how well Jansen was talking and how big he had gotten.
His right ear still has the tube in it, and we are hoping it will stay in through the winter months ahead.
Then we went to visit Ms. L to have a hearing test.
Jansen walked in and was ready to play her games. (unlike last time)
He sat still and responded to the sounds(all of them)!!!!!
He did a great job today with the test and Ms. L tested his "little ear" using bone conduction and the nerve was still working great!!
The whole time during the testing I was so relax, because I knew he had grown up a lot since his last test 6/8 months ago.
Of course this made my day!

While visiting with Ms. L we turned in the BAHA hearing aid, because it was something Jansen didn't like to wear. Chris and I feel great that we can look back on this and know we tried. Ms. L did tell us if Jansen ask to wear it later down the road we could try and get the loaner back and see how he does.
He continues to amazes us with his speech and we know he will grow up to be a great man and husband some day! (right now he is one of mommys little boys:)

YEAH IT'S FRIDAY!

School has started and both boys have already been sick, but that's what happens when a lot of children get around each other.

Jordan is loving 1st grade. Baseball has started for the Fall season and The Kenty's are ready. We have praciticed twice this week getting the boys ready for the 7/8 season.

Jansen is becoming a little golfer these days. Chris loves watching him play. He is so natural with a golf club in his hand. The only problem is he is a lefty, and daddy has a hard time helping him.

Happy 3rd Birthday Jansen!

Thanks to all my friends that came to Jansen Glow Golf party Friday night. We had so much fun.

Jansen will be starting a new school today. He will be riding with Chris everyday to attend the WONDERFUL daycare center on the Chick-fil-a corporate grounds. Jansen is excited about going to "chick-fil-a school."

When I put him in the truck this morning,he didn't want me to leave, but Chris told me he was fine once they got on the road. I know Jansen will have fun once he gets use to the new school. Chris will get to check on him throughout the day.
