Jansen update....

I spoke with Dr. Jones on Wednesday and he was very sad to hear that Jansen had exposed cartilage again. This is how our conservation went:

Me: What are we going to do?

Dr. J: not really sure, but knows of a case in Vandy that a little boys had exposed cartilage
(a lot worse than Jansen) and after a failed revision they decided to see if it would heal itself..and it did over time.

Me: Are we going to lose the cartilage?

Dr. J: No, but I have no idea why this keeps happening to Jansen.

Me: If this doesn't heal itself, or we have to much bone exposed, what is the next surgery going to be?

Dr. J: not 100% sure... Lets keep meds on it and keep it wrapped and see how it's looking Monday.

Me: I am okay with that and lets hope it will start to heal itself.....

Since our conversation, I have contacted 3 other docs.

Dr. #1 in California: not so nice and will never call them again

Dr. #2 in Vandy: we have missed each others calls twice...so hoping to hear from him soon with some advice. (only 4 1/2 hours away if we need to take a road trip)

Dr. #3 in Texas: emailed him and he wants to see a picture before we talk. Also hoping to hear from him soon.

So we are at a stand still right now....Need lots of prayers....
